uGeo Italy update
Wednesday (May 21th) at 7:00 p.m. (UTC+1) UrbiStat will release the 2023 ISTAT socio-demographic, economic and administrative updates related to the Italian territory:
- municipality (new & aggregations);
- zip code (new & aggregations);
- inhabitants to 01/01/2024;
- families at 01/01/2024;
- foreigners to 01/01/2024;
- age classes to 01/01/2024;
- employed / unemployed to 01/01/2024;
- labor force / labor nonforce to 01/01/2024;
- consumption (by merchandise category) to 2023;
- disposable income to 2023;
- tourism to 01/01/2024;
- employees and local units in Companies sector 2022
- employees and local units in Public sector 2020
It will also be updated:
- new municipality / zip code geographical boundaries;
- cartography / road graph (new roads / types of road and travel times updates);
- Values of the Zone Omi at 2nd semester 2023.
It is highly recommended to save off-line the outputs of analysis stored into the platform and for which automatic updates are not requested, considering that:
- travel times may be subject to change;
- the updating by Istat of the population and the new census sections (year 2021) may lead to a different distribution of inhabitants within the Italian territory.
